Little Friends

I'm back! Wow, I was hoping to have a couple posts up by now but my procrastination has once again got the best of me! Not to mention I have a little boy with a bad case of the stomach flu. So instead of finishing my current project (embroidery patterns from Sublime Stitching) I created a few little friends to cheer up my son.

I found these wonderful boy/girl embroidery patterns from Goody-Goody Handmade. The embroidery took a little time to complete but it was super easy to sew into pillows (the boy/girl pillows have a pocket on the back). I used the Darling Dachshunds pattern from Sublime Stitching for the little puppies. I used plain white cotton for the face of each pillow and scrap flannel for the backs/pockets.

I am a beginner at embroidery and this is my 2nd project..so some stitches could be neater/smaller, regardless my son LOVED his new friends!
